Snorkelling at Coral Bay

I woke up at 23:00 to take photos in the evening. The moon was shining brightly in the night sky & I was still a noob when it came to taking photos of the stars. Also, it was still windy as shit.

Our first stop this morning was Shell Beach, made entirely of shells that get ground up into grains of “sand”.

Hamelin Pools is full of stromatolites, which are layered mounds of sedimentary rock created by bacteria. We took a boardwalk to check the area out. Not much to do, just a lot to read. I dared Viv to find out what the dirt tastes like.. she declined.

Stopped at a gas station so that I can do a poop. 💩

Coral Bay was one of the beaches Victoria & Job said we could snorkel right up to the reef from the beach. It didn’t disappoint! Visibility was clear & waters pretty calm.

We camped out at Ned’s Campsite near (by near, I mean 60 km away from) Exmouth.
