And then there was a masterclass.
I swam before work at ITAC. I’ve been swimming to keep me moving while my lower back recovers from an injury at the gym. I’ve also avoided running because I think my plantar fasciitis is starting to improve. Don’t get old.
It was Romi’s first day back at work from a 4-week holiday in Europe. It’s nice having her back. She sat in Atia’s usual spot (while Romi was away). Felt a bit weird. It’s not like Romi was replacing Atia. I’ve had to balance out the attention I give to each colleague.
She gifted everyone in the team chocolates and a cooking spoon!
A big chunk of the day involved supporting Renee and Sean at the masterclass they held for the RBS Graduates. They taught them how to perform research to test their ideas and designs.
I taught the grads about prototyping last week. This year was less exciting, because based on last year’s feedback— the grads wanted more time to work on their own project (instead of the common one I gave all groups). But it meant that there was less arts and crafts in this year’s masterclass. Apparently, the prototyping masterclass was their favourite, so if I ever need to hold it again, I know which version to go with (the fun one).
My favourite photo from the day: Romi keeping it classy.
