Every Friday at 15:00 designers get together to learn something new, be inspired and ignite our creativity.

Today we went through a half-hour design challenge— over the course of 30 minutes, we split into teams and worked together to come up with a pitch for an idea.

The design challenge was to Create an automated device that would make the cafe experience better in Sydney.

Our team of 2 (Andrea + me) rushed to sketch the journey of ordering a coffee, identify problems for the customer, ideate solutions for 3 different problems, vote, and sketch out the solution for a pitch we presented.

Our idea was a machine that allowed customers to submit a photo. The photo would be printed à la latte art on their coffee order.
