Day 11 - The Town
I’m finding that every morning before I go out, I need to do some bike maintenance to check its roadworthiness. Living in Steveston means my bike covers a lot more ground on a daily basis than in Sydney. And because of the weather, it needs some extra attention on the chain and joints.
I wondered around town in the afternoon, where it quickly turned dark, well before 17:00. Steveston’s quite a pretty town, with well-groomed store fronts and a variety of shops. It reminds me of the countless small towns that Fringe was set in. Steveston (as well as Vancouver) is often used as the backdrop to many films and tv shows.
I waited until 17:30 for G-men Ramen to open for dinner, where I dug into a spicy soup ramen.
