I’ve been at the forefront of designing seamless experiences for customers, Blue Shirts, and Geek Squad Agents at Best Buy Canada. My role has been integral in embedding UX design within agile scrum teams to deliver top-notch products.

Key Projects:

  • Loyalty and Services: Conduct research, map customer journeys and design an online experience for Best Buy Members to enable them to sign-up, engage and use their membership. Drove the design and implementation of the Geek Squad repair application. Redesign the Best Buy account dashboard.

  • Employee Experience: Conducted an extensive audit and redesign of the information architecture for the new company intranet, enhancing employee digital engagement.

  • Purchase and Checkout: Streamlined the web checkout process and played a pivotal role in the foundational design for a new POS system in-store. Reimagined the call centre customer service application and strategized the design for the in-store ordering app used by Blue Shirts.

As a part of the UX Research Centre of Excellence, I worked alongside UX Designers to refine digital banking experiences through rigorous customer research and usability testing.

Key Projects:

  • Conducted research and validation for the Benefits Finder initiative, aiding customers in discovering benefits and entitlements.

  • Facilitated focus groups and in-depth interviews for concept testing of a new NetBank website, which informed design decisions for the NetBank Modernisation project.

  • Performed frequent usability tests on a regular cadence to inform our designers on key aspects of their design.
